I am opening a new fitness club in Texas, we will have two tanning beds. What do we need to do this legally?
The short answer is no, Texas no longer requires registration of tanning business or any formal certification.
My suggestion is that you will want to follow industry "best practices" and observe the requirement of FDA regulations especially eye protection and using only legal equipment.
If you don't have a solid background in indoor tanning operations I would definitely recommend a training course such as ours for yourself and your lead manager. (Sorry for the blatant commercial but I really believe the information will help you do a better job for your tanning members.)
