Can I put the quiz on hold and come back after studying when I don't know ananswer ?

You can put a quiz on hold at any time. Just click on "Finish" to save your work and when you are ready you can return and
restart the quiz.
Note that you can download and print or save a
course manual and use that manual as an aide in learning the material
and completing a quiz.
